Repairs and Preventive Maintenance
Applanation tonometers
Repair and calibration with precision digital dynamometer, replacement of defective parts, focus verification and alignment with slit lamp. We issue a calibration certificate. Courtesy tonometers available on request
Preventive maintenance
Periodic verification of ophthalmic equipment is essential to avoid problems during use with patients.
Fronticometer
Calibration check with lenses certified by the National Institute of Optics C.N.R. of Florence in compliance with the ISO 9342-1:2005 standard. It must become a good habit for the optician to have the accuracy of such an important instrument as the lensmeter checked periodically, especially as a precaution in cases of unpleasant disputes.
Electrical safety checks
The electrical safety check is mandatory once a year for surgical equipment and every two years for diagnostic equipment.
Surgical lasers
Verification of Laser emissions with certified equipment of exceptional precision with Israeli technology. Functional check-up for ophthalmic surgery. Verification is mandatory once a year as required by current regulations.
